About Our Program
Summer Arts Intensive exists to give young artists focused, individualized theatre training from local arts educators and professionals. Now in its 16th season, our program is built on the belief that every young performer deserves real, hands-on mentorship — not just a summer camp experience, but a genuine opportunity to grow.
Through SAI Kids, SAI Jr., and SAI Mainstage, we meet young artists where they are, from their earliest steps on stage through their final years before adulthood, offering training suited to their age and experience at every stage of their growth.
Participants stretch their creative and personal talents while learning what it actually takes to bring a production to life, from the stage to everything happening behind it. It's training that challenges them artistically while helping them discover more about who they are as performers and as people.
We believe summer should have room for both art and everything else it brings. Our programs are designed to fit into the rhythm of the season, not compete with it, so participants and their families can have both art and summer, together.
